Meet our governors
Mr Peter Troup - Chair of Governors
Peter is a co-opted Governor and sits on the Provisions and Health and Safety Committees. He was re-elected in 2022 and his term in office ends on 4th October 2026. He is a local businessman and former parent at South Baddesley.
Mr Ed Carrell - Vice Chair of Governors
Ed is a co-opted governor and sits on the Finance and Pay Committees. He is chair of the Resources Committee. Ed was re-elected in 2022 and his term ends on 23rd May 2026.
Mrs Anne Moir
Anne sits on all of the Governor Committees since her appointment as Headteacher in 2014.
Mrs Claire Holly
Claire is a co-opted governor and sits on the Staff and Pupil Wellbeing, Provisions, Safeguarding and Head Teacher Performance Committees. She was elected in 2020 and her term ends on 12th October 2024.
Mr Damon Holmes
Damon is a Local Authority governor and sits on the Finance and Provisions committees. He was elected in 2023 and his term ends on 7th February 2027.
Mrs Siobhan Mulcahy
Siobhan is a co-opted governor and sits on the Provisions Committee. She was elected to the Governing Body in 2023 and her term ends on 11th July 2027.
Mrs Sarah Osborne
Sarah is the clerk to the governors and began her role in as clerk in 2023.
Mrs Alex Mackenzie
Alex is a parent governor and sits on the Staff and Pupil Wellbeing committee. She was elected in 2020 and her term ends on 1st February 2028.
Mrs Rachel Prophet
Rachel is a foundation governor and sits on the Staff and Pupil Wellbeing and Safeguarding Committees. She joined the Governing Body in 2023 and her term ends on 17th October 2027.
Miss Katharine Simkins
Katharine is a staff governor and joined the governing body following her appointment as Deputy Head in 2019. She sits on the Finance and Provisions committees. Her term ends on 1st February 2028.
Mr Rupert Van Den Bogaerde
Rupert joined the governing body in 2022 as an Ex-Officio governor and sits on the Provisions committee.
