Maternity Cover Class Teacher (Primary)

We are seeking an exceptional primary class teacher to join our dedicated, welcoming team at South Baddesley CE Primary School and Nursery. Initially offered as a one-year maternity cover, this role comes at an exciting time as we continue to embed our school strengths, grow our unique curriculum, and further enhance our approach to personal and professional development.

A central highlight of our school life is our outdoor learning programme. This year, we are fully embedding the use of our school farm to offer a rich, experiential curriculum. Furthermore, we actively collaborate with local partner schools, making this an outstanding opportunity for an educator looking to consolidate their teaching expertise or develop leadership skills within a supportive wider network.

Salary: MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Part-Time / Full-Time / Flexible Days considered (1-year fixed-term maternity contract)

Start Date: January 2027 (Includes a full 1-month funded handover and induction alongside current teaching staff)

Closing Date: Friday 2nd October 2026

Interview Date: Friday 9th October 2026
